En mi opinión, la mejor forma de ver una fotografía es en una copia impresa. Con la calidad y el tamaño adecuado, nos permitirá admirar el resultado final de la imagen en todo su alcance, tal y como el fotógrafo la ha pensado. Ese es el destino lógico para una obra gráfica, un soporte físico que puede ser manipulado, expuesto y visionado, con entidad objetiva y material.

Si está usted interesado en adquirir alguna de las fotografías que se exponen en este blog, puede comprar una impresión Fine Art de cualquiera de ellas. Las copias se imprimen  sobre papel Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique de 310 gr, que es el papel que me ha ofrecido una mejor y más amplia gama de color y  de grises, y una respuesta a los tonos oscuros – los más difíciles de imprimir – mejor que cualquier otro papel de los que he probado. Imprimo con una Epson Stylus Pro 3880, que utiliza nueve tintas, y que creo que es la impresora que da la mejor calidad de impresión hasta tamaños DIN A2.

Los tamaños que se pueden adquirir son:

A pesar de que el papel no puede trasmitir los mismos tonos y el brillo de la pantalla, aseguro el máximo de fidelidad a la imagen resultante gracias a una gestión de color que se basa en la calibración del monitor y del conjunto papel-impresora mediante un espectrofotómetro ColorMunki de X-Rite. El proceso de impresión sigue los máximos cuidados para conseguir una copia calidad museo que asegure una permanencia de la imagen de 200 años, siguiendo unos mínimos cuidados de archivado de la copia.

Cada copia está firmada y numerada, y se entrega con un certificado firmado por el autor que asegura que se trata de un original dentro de una serie de un máximo de diez de cada

In my opinion, the best way to see a photograph is watching a printed copy of it. With the quality and the right size, the printed copy will allow us to appreciate the whole dimension of the image as the photographer thought it. This is the logical destination of a graphic work, a physical support that can be manipulated, can be exposed and be seen, with objective and material entity.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the photographs presented in this blog, you can buy a Fine Art print of any of them. The copies are printed on Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique 310 gr, which is the paper that has given me a better and wider range of color tones and grays, as well as a good response to the dark tones – the most difficult to be printed – better than any another paper that I’ve tested. To make my printings, I use an Epson Stylus Pro 3880, which uses nine different inks. According to my experience, this is the printer that gives the best quality in sizes up to DIN A2.

Although the paper cannot convey the same tones and screen brightness, I assure you an excellent result with the maximum loyalty to the image that can be seen on the screen, through a color management based on monitor calibration and set paper-printer by X-Rite ColorMunki spectrophotometer. The printing process follows the utmost care to get a museum copy that ensures a 200 years permanence of the image quality, only with a little care in manipulating and filing it.

Each copy is signed and numbered and comes with a certificate signed by the author, who says that it is an original in a series of up to ten of each image and size.
